 Water Rate OrdinanceThe new water rates will be going into effect next month on your water bills, if all goes well. These transitions are sometimes pretty rough, so please bare with us. And if you have any questions please call city hall. The ordinance can be found here. The ordinance basically states the rates which are as follows:
1. The minimum monthly rate for water shall be $15.00. 2. The rate for water based upon gallons used for the month shall be in accordance with the following schedule: $1.83 per thousand gallons(Rounded to the nearest 1000 gallons per month.) 3. Upon usage of 5,001 gallons rates go to $1.00 per thousand gallons which includes equal amount for sewer. |
